Brian Henry has spent more than a decade creating an on-going photographic diary of self-portraits in empty spaces. The Baltimore based artist is exploring his feelings of isolation, loneliness and mortality. This curiosity has taken him to places most people wouldn't think to go alone like abandon structures and desolate landscapes. Through these experiences he has grown to see himself differently in his surroundings, experience fears from a different perspective and grow a great sense of independence. His photographs area a fleeting memory on fragile paper created with experimental techniques that distress the images that purposefully enhances the decay and foretells the future.
